Description:
The Project Engineer will be responsible for the day-to-day technical and site management of assigned projects, ensuring works are completed safely, on time, to the required quality, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day site activities and coordinate subcontractors and site teams
- Review drawings, specifications, BOQs, and project requirements
- Plan and monitor project schedules and manpower
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
- Monitor quality, progress, and workmanship on site
- Prepare and follow up on RFIs, inspections, approvals, and technical submissions
- Coordinate procurement and material requirements with the Procurement team
- Track project variations and assist with cost control
- Prepare daily/weekly progress reports
- Ensure compliance with HSE and site regulations
- Identify and resolve technical and site issues efficiently
- Ensure proper handover and project close-out
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of UAE construction/fit-out experience
- Engineering degree or relevant technical qualification
- Strong knowledge of villa renovation and fit-out works including landscape and joinery
- Ability to read and understand drawings and BOQs
- Good knowledge of construction methods, materials, and site coordination
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple activities and work under pressure
- UAE driving licence is required
