Description:
As a Project Engineer, you will work with internal and external stakeholders to develop new products, technologies and customer-specific solutions. You’ll also coordinate the daily local order fulfillment activities on assigned projects. Additional responsibilities include quotation support, routine engineering analysis, detailed layout/mechanical design and operations support.
Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Act as single point of contact for customers.
- Proactively monitor project schedule, costs, risks, and deliverables; develop contingency plans as necessary.
- Communicate with customers in a timely, professional clear manner.
- Responsible for project executions to establish schedule, monitoring project margin erosion, and ensuring financial milestone during the course of project are met in a timely
- Ensure project specifications are understood and being complied during the course of the of the project
- Coordinate and participate in contractor site visits and arrange contractor quotes as required
- Support shipping documentations in case if necessary
Preferred Experience / Skills :
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and CAD (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor)
- Knowledge of ANSYS is a plus (CFD, FEA)
- ndustrial experience in development and design
- Understanding of engineering documentation, drafting, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
- Effective verbal and written communications
- Able to communicate and interact effectively with all levels of employees, customers, and business groups globally
- Collaborative team player and self-starter capable of working under minimal supervision
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement processes are a plus
- Relevant experience with SAP/ERP system is preferrable
- BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering / package execution experience / with 2 years minimum experience in pump / strong knowlege in pumps
