This is an exciting opportunity for an engineering professional who will oversee and manage technical aspects of fit-out projects from conception to completion, ensuring quality, precision, and on-time delivery.

Job Summary:

The Project Fit-Out Engineer will be responsible for managing all engineering disciplines related to fit-out works, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, and ensuring projects are executed according to approved plans, specifications, and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Thoroughly review project drawings, specifications, and Bill of Quantities (BOQ) to ensure alignment with project goals.

• Develop detailed fit-out work schedules synchronized with overall project timelines to ensure smooth progress.

• Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain seamless workflow and communication.

• Ensure timely availability of materials and manpower to avoid workflow interruptions.

• Oversee site operations daily, addressing any site issues promptly and efficiently.

• Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with approved drawings and quality standards.

• Maintain rigorous documentation of inspections, approvals, and snag lists for quality assurance.

• Conduct pre-handover inspections and ensure rectification of any identified snags.

• Enforce Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies, ensuring strict compliance with Dubai’s safety regulations.

• Liaise with Dubai authorities for submission and approval of fit-out drawings, MEP coordination, and as-built documentation.

• Attend meetings with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders to communicate project updates, resolve issues, and secure necessary approvals.

• Ensure client satisfaction through timely delivery and adherence to quality expectations.

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree holder in engineering or relevant discipline.

• 2 to 3 years of proven experience in fit-out project engineering or similar roles.

• Must hold a valid professional engineering license in Dubai or Abu Dhabi.

• Strong understanding of fit-out works, engineering disciplines, and local regulatory requirements.

• Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills.

• Ability to work effectively under pressure and solve problems proactively.
