Public Relations Officer

Description:

Gate One General Transport L.L.C., a well-established heavy transport solutions provider in the UAE, is seeking a Public Relations Officer (PRO) to support its operations in Abu Dhabi. The company specializes in transporting bulk materials such as aggregates, sand, and various construction supplies across all Emirates, playing a crucial role in the country’s infrastructure and industrial projects.

As a PRO, you will be the primary liaison between the company and various UAE governmental authorities. You will manage a range of administrative and legal functions essential to both company and employee compliance with UAE regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle all government-related transactions including processing, renewal, and cancellation of employee visas, labor permits, and Emirates IDs.

• Manage the registration, renewal, and cancellation of company vehicles.

• Ensure proper documentation and legal compliance related to company operations and workforce.

• Prepare and submit necessary documentation to government departments and municipalities.

• Monitor and keep up-to-date with changes in local laws and regulatory frameworks.

• Facilitate attestation processes for employee and company documents when required.

• Assist in maintaining strong working relationships with local government offices, ministries, and related authorities.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.

• 2 to 3 years of proven experience as a Public Relations Officer within the UAE.

• Comprehensive understanding of UAE labor laws, visa procedures, vehicle registration, and legal compliance.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with internal teams and external governmental bodies.

• Proficiency in Arabic and English, both written and verbal, is essential.

• Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Work Location:

• Primary office located in Mussafah M16, Abu Dhabi.

• The position may require travel across Abu Dhabi and occasionally to other Emirates for government-related tasks.
