Purchase Officer

Description:

LOTSCHBERG General Contracting LLC (LGCC) is urgently seeking a qualified Purchase Officer to join its Abu Dhabi office. This opportunity is ideal for procurement professionals with experience in the construction or infrastructure sector who can efficiently manage purchasing activities and supplier relationships.

The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing construction materials, negotiating with vendors, maintaining procurement records, and ensuring timely delivery of materials to support ongoing projects. The role requires strong organizational skills, market knowledge, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage procurement activities for construction and infrastructure projects.

• Source materials and obtain competitive quotations from suppliers.

• Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and contract terms with vendors.

• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and evaluate vendor performance.

• Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely procurement of materials.

• Maintain accurate purchasing records and ensure compliance with company procedures.

Requirements:

• Up to 5 years of experience in construction or infrastructure procurement.

• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.

• Good knowledge of construction materials.

• Immediate joiners are preferred.

• Candidates currently based in Abu Dhabi will have an advantage.
