Description:
Al Khalidiya Group, a prominent UAE-based organization with 13 successful subsidiaries spanning Aluminum, Glass, Waterproofing, Joinery, and Care Services, is looking for a dedicated Purchase Officer to strengthen its Aluminum Fabrication Division. This position requires a proactive professional ready for immediate joining and capable of handling procurement for multiple fabrication projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and procure aluminum profiles, hardware, accessories, glass, and related materials for ongoing fabrication projects.
- Request, review, and negotiate supplier quotations to ensure optimal pricing and quality.
- Prepare purchase orders (POs) and maintain detailed procurement records.
- Collaborate with project, production, and warehouse teams to guarantee timely material availability.
- Monitor supplier performance, delivery timelines, and material quality standards.
- Maintain and update vendor databases while fostering strong supplier relationships.
- Ensure all purchased materials meet project specifications and company quality standards.
- Follow up on deliveries and logistics to maintain seamless material flow for projects.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years of UAE experience in procurement within the Aluminum Fabrication or Façade sector.
- Strong understanding of aluminum systems, accessories, and the supplier market.
- Experience with purchase management systems and proficient in MS Office.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and coordination abilities.
- Capable of working under pressure and meeting tight project deadlines.
- Immediate availability is preferred.
