Purchasing Officer

We are currently looking for a skilled and experienced Purchasing Officer to join our procurement team in Abu Dhabi. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a semi-government organization in the transportation sector. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in automotive spare parts procurement, supplier negotiations, and ERP-based inventory systems.

This role is crucial for managing the end-to-end purchasing cycle, ensuring optimal stock levels, cost-effective sourcing, and smooth coordination with vendors and internal teams.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:
• Procure a wide range of automotive spare parts and materials as per company needs.
• Conduct negotiations with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
• Utilize ERP systems to manage purchasing records, track inventory, and forecast needs.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely procurement and avoid supply chain disruptions.
• Monitor delivery schedules, follow up on delays, and resolve supply-related issues efficiently.

What We’re Looking For:
• At least 4 years of experience in spare parts purchasing, preferably in the automotive or transportation industry.
• Strong command over ERP systems for inventory and procurement management.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Abu Dhabi.
