Dermazone Laser & Cosmetic Center, a leading medical and cosmetic facility based in Sharjah, UAE, is seeking a skilled and experienced Purchasing Officer to join their procurement team. The Purchasing Officer will be responsible for overseeing the procurement of medical supplies and equipment, ensuring compliance with UAE medical procurement laws and regulations. This position requires an individual with in-depth knowledge of the healthcare sector’s purchasing protocols, including familiarity with Ministry of Health (MOH), Dubai Health Authority (DHA), and other relevant UAE government portals and processes.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized and possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, enabling effective coordination with suppliers and internal stakeholders. Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is mandatory to perform the role successfully.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and execute the purchasing process for medical supplies and equipment within the clinic or healthcare facility.

• Ensure all procurement activities comply with UAE medical procurement laws, regulations, and guidelines.

• Navigate and utilize MOH, DHA, and other UAE health authority portals to facilitate purchasing and approvals.

• Liaise with vendors and suppliers to negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms.

• Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation for auditing and compliance purposes.

• Collaborate closely with clinical and administrative teams to assess supply needs and streamline procurement processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree holder, preferably in a related field such as business administration, supply chain management, or healthcare.

• Proven experience of 2 to 3 years as a Purchasing Officer specifically in a medical clinic, hospital, or healthcare facility in the UAE.

• Strong knowledge of UAE medical procurement laws, regulations, and healthcare compliance.

• Proficient in using MOH, DHA, and other related UAE health portals for procurement activities.

• Fluent in English (spoken and written) with excellent communication skills.

• Exceptional organizational, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage vendor relationships and internal coordination.
