Qa /qc Engineer

 

Description:

We have an opening for QA /QC Engineer-Engineering & Procurement for Abu Dhabi location.

 

1. To review the Engineering deliverables generated by the Engineering Sub Contractor

(Material Requisition, Technical Bid Evaluation, IDs etc.) as per contractual inspection and

Quality Control requirements.

 

2. Familiar in review of Contract scope of work, project contract documents and project

execution plan to develop Project Quality Plan and Engineering / Procurement Plan as per

project applicability.

 

3. Familiar / experience in Review and Verification of FEED Documents as per Design basis,

Datasheets, Guidelines, codes and standards.

 

4. To ensure all design procedural controls are followed as per Client Specification

requirements.

 

5. To ensure that all criticality rating, Inspection level and Material certification requirements

are incorporated / addressed during preparation of Data sheets, relevant specification and

material requisition, TBE, etc.

 

6. Interface functions between engineering and the quality department in Contractor’s

organization and externally with specialist subcontractors, Third Parties and COMPANY.

 

7. To ensure that all supplies and services are resourced from vendors, suppliers and Sub-

CONTRACTORs listed in Latest COMPANY approved vendor list / selected as per Company

Pre-qualified List as enclosed in contract documents.

 

8. Responsible for preparation of Project Quality Plan and obtain Client approval in accordance

with Contract specifications and COMPANY Project Quality System requirements.

 

9. Competency / Experience of developing Quality system, Quality Control Procedures / Plans,

Work procedures and inspection and Test plans, etc.

 

10. Good command / fully familiar with codes and standards such as IEC, IEEE, NEC, API, ISA, ISO,

NEMA, etc. used in oil and gas industries. Familiar with ADNOC Onshore specifications.

 

11. Experience in review of Engineering and procurement document deliverables (MR, TBE,

IDs, Vendor ITPs, MPS, MRB, Final Dossier, etc.) as per contractual Inspection and Quality

Control requirements.

 

12. Review of PIM package submitted by Vendors / suppliers.

 

13. Coordinate Pre-Inspection Meeting (PIM) with hired supplier / manufacturer. Experience in

conducting / participating PIM, Kick-off meeting, Pre-production meetings with vendors /

manufacturer prior to start of manufacturing.
