Qc Engineer

Kabri International Co. LLC is currently looking for a highly organized and detail-focused QC Engineer – Handover & Close-Out to join its Dubai operations. This role is ideal for professionals with strong experience in quality documentation, compliance verification, and final handover procedures for infrastructure, utilities, or large-scale construction projects across the UAE. Immediate joiners will be given preference.

The selected candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that all quality records, inspection reports, certifications, and close-out documentation are properly completed and aligned with contractual obligations as well as local authority standards before project handover.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all QA/QC documentation related to project close-out and handover, ensuring records are complete, accurate, and fully traceable

• Prepare, review, and submit handover packages including material certifications, inspection test plans (ITPs), third-party and internal test reports, and NCR closure documentation

• Coordinate snag closure and punch list items from a quality standpoint, ensuring all identified issues are rectified and verified prior to handover

• Liaise with clients, consultants, and authority inspectors to secure approvals, inspection sign-offs, and compliance certifications

• Support preparation of O&M manuals by verifying equipment test reports, commissioning records, and warranty documentation

• Maintain close-out trackers covering RFIs, WIRs, material approvals, calibration certificates, and final inspection records

• Assist with final account settlements by providing verified quality completion documents and handover evidence

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering

• Total experience of 5 to 8 years in QA/QC functions, with strong exposure to project handover and close-out processes

• Minimum 5 years of UAE experience in infrastructure, utilities, or large-scale civil construction projects

• Strong working knowledge of local authority handover and quality procedures including RTA, DM, DEWA, and related entities

• Proven experience in preparing handover packages, ITPs, material submittals, test reports, and snag closure documentation

• Sound understanding of FIDIC contract conditions related to taking-over, defect liability, and quality compliance

• Strong documentation, communication, and coordination abilities

• Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel and Word, along with document control systems

• Valid UAE driving license is preferred
