Qualified Chartered Accountant

Description:

We are looking for an experienced and Qualified Chartered Accountant to supervise, track and evaluate day-to-day accounts department activities. The candidate should have relevant experience in the UAE. The candidate will be working closely with the management and handle a team of accountants. The candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, budgets, cash flow, financial reporting, audits, tax compliance, strategic planning, and team management.

Responsibilities :

• Manage financial records, including account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statements

• Develop and monitor budgets and forecast financial performance

• Manage the organization's cash flow, including accounts payable and receivable

• Prepare and present financial reports to management, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies

• Coordinate audits with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices

• Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations and prepare and file tax returns

• Provide financial analysis and insight to support the development of strategic plans and business decisions

• Manage and lead a team of accountants or financial professionals, providing guidance, training, and support

• Implement and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls

• Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy

Requirements and skills

• Proven working experience as Accounts Manager in an AUDIT FIRM

• Advanced computer skills in MS Excel, accounting software (XERO), and databases

• Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, IFRS, practices, standards, laws, and regulations

• In-depth understanding of cash flow management, general ledger, capital asset reconciliation, management of accounts receivable and accounts payable, lease accounting, etc.

• Monitor and analyse accounting data and produce required financial reports, budgets or client account statements

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Leadership abilities including client communication, e mail communication skills, etc.

• ACCA, CA, CPA or Similar relevant qualifications.

• 4+ years of experience preferably in an Audit Firm or Accounting Service Provider.

Budgeted salary of AED 7-12K, based on experience and skills. UAE residence visa and medical insurance shall be provided. Interested applicants, please send your CV
