Quality Control Engineer

Description:

Cemex United Arab Emirates is looking for an experienced Quality Control Engineer to join its team in Dubai. This position is responsible for delivering technical support to internal departments and external customers while ensuring the quality and performance of concrete products through technical evaluations, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.

The successful candidate will be involved in preparing technical documentation, optimizing concrete mix designs, supporting customer requirements, monitoring raw materials, and contributing to product development. This role also requires close collaboration with the sales team, contractors, and clients to ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare technical submittals for concrete mix designs and related documentation.

• Coordinate with clients to discuss and finalize mix design proposals.

• Conduct plant trials to obtain approval for concrete mix designs.

• Provide technical support to the sales team before and after project execution.

• Identify opportunities for product improvement and cost-saving initiatives.

• Manage sampling activities for value-added concrete products and support contractors during approvals and applications.

• Review customer complaints and assist in developing and implementing corrective action plans.

• Monitor and verify the quality of raw materials used in production.

• Perform site visits and provide technical guidance to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or Civil Engineering.

• 5–10 years of experience in Concrete Quality Control within the UAE. 

GeographicReference

• Dubai Municipality accreditation will be an advantage.

• Proficiency in English is required.

• Arabic and Hindi language skills will be an advantage.

• Valid UAE driving license.

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
