Quality Controller

Description:

Amana Foods in the UAE is currently seeking a Quality Controller to join its factory operations in Ras Al Khaimah. This role is suited for a detail-oriented professional who can ensure that all food products consistently meet required quality, safety, and regulatory standards throughout the production and distribution process.

The Quality Controller will play a vital role in monitoring daily operations and supporting continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining strict compliance with food safety regulations. The position requires close coordination with production and quality assurance teams to uphold company and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitoring and controlling product quality across all operational stages, including raw material receiving, production, and shipping
• Conducting routine quality inspections, checks, and sampling activities
• Ensuring full compliance with food safety and quality standards such as HACCP, ISO, and GMP
• Identifying non-conformities, preparing reports, and following up on corrective and preventive actions
• Maintaining accurate quality records, reports, and documentation
• Coordinating with production and QA teams to support process improvements and efficiency

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Quality Management, or a related discipline
• Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in quality control, preferably within the food manufacturing industry
• Good knowledge of HACCP, ISO 22000, and GMP standards
• Strong attention to detail with effective documentation and reporting skills
• Currently residing in the UAE with a valid residence visa
• Willingness to work in Ras Al Khaimah
• Previous UAE work experience is considered an advantage
