Description:
We are seeking a Quality & Support Engineer who will take ownership of application quality, reliability, and day-to-day stability across our software landscape. You will design and maintain automated test coverage, integrate quality checks into CI/CD pipelines, troubleshoot production and UAT issues, and provide responsive technical support to internal users—ultimately ensuring smooth, high-quality digital experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Test Automation: Design, build, and maintain robust automated test suites using Playwright and Selenium (UI, API, regression, smoke).
- End-to-End Testing: Execute comprehensive functional and non-functional testing; validate integrations and data flows across environments.
- CI/CD Integration: Embed automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, configure gates, and track build quality metrics.
- Incident & Change Management: Participate in incident triage and root-cause analysis; support change management activities with clear test plans and rollback strategies.
- Production Support: Troubleshoot application issues, replicate defects, propose fixes or workarounds, and coordinate with engineering to drive timely resolutions.
- Performance & Health Monitoring: Monitor application performance, availability, and error rates; maintain dashboards and alerts; recommend preventive improvements.
- User Enablement: Provide training, knowledge articles, and responsive support to end-users to encourage effective product adoption.
- Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine QA practices, strengthen release readiness, and uplift engineering excellence.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years in QA/Quality Engineering and application support within complex, fast-paced environments.
- Tools & Technologies: Strong hands-on experience with Playwright, Selenium, test case management tools, defect tracking systems, and MS Excel/documentation.
- DevOps Exposure: Comfortable working with CI/CD platforms and version control; understanding of pipelines, artifacts, and environment promotion.
- Domain Knowledge: Exposure to insurance/financial services applications and related workflows is highly valued.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, clear communication, and stakeholder management; able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Availability: Immediate joiners preferred.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of API testing frameworks, performance testing tools, and observability stacks.
- Familiarity with ITSM practices (incident, problem, change) and release management processes.
