Quantity Surveyor

Description:

Rocks & Logs Stone Works LLC is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team in Dubai. This opportunity is suited for professionals with strong expertise in both pre-contract and post-contract quantity surveying, along with a solid understanding of commercial and contract management within the construction industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project costs, preparing valuations and payment applications, handling contract variations and claims, and supporting commercial activities throughout the project lifecycle while ensuring effective cost control and contract compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage pre-contract and post-contract commercial activities for construction projects.

• Prepare interim payment applications, valuations, and commercial reports.

• Handle contract variations, claims, and final account settlements.

• Monitor project costs, budgets, and overall commercial performance.

• Support commercial and contract management throughout all project phases.

Requirements:

• Strong background in quantity surveying and commercial management.

• Experience with interim payment applications, valuations, variations, and claims.

• Good knowledge of cost control and contract administration.

• Experience in natural stone, façade, cladding, fit-out, or similar construction sectors is highly preferred.

• Strong knowledge of:

• Quantity surveying principles and commercial management.

• Cost estimation, budgeting, and financial reporting.

• Contract administration, claims management, and project cost control.
