Quantity Surveyor

Description:

KLM Contracting is urgently hiring a skilled and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Dubai. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with a strong background in construction cost estimation and quantity take-offs to contribute to ongoing and upcoming projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and bills of quantities for construction projects.

• Conduct site visits to collect measurements and verify materials used.

• Monitor project budgets, costs, and variations to ensure alignment with client expectations.

• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and contractors to prepare and evaluate tenders and contracts.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and local regulations.

• Assist in procurement and valuation of subcontractor work.

• Generate progress reports and manage documentation related to project expenses.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the UAE construction industry.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

• Strong knowledge in estimation, cost control, and quantity take-offs.

• Proficient in relevant software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Excel, estimating software).

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

• Immediate joiners are highly preferred.

• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
