Research Assistant

Description:

I am seeking a highly motivated Research Assistant to join my research group at Zayed University. The candidate will be working on data analysis for the SuperCDMS SNOLAB experiment.

Familiarity with experimental laboratory work and cryogenic systems is preferred. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside researchers, graduate students, and undergraduate students from various institutions in the US and Canada.

Qualifications and Skills

- Bachelor's degree in physics, engineering physics, or a closely related field from a reputable university (current undergraduate or graduate students are encouraged to apply).

- Ability to analyze data using Python or MATLAB is a must.

- Experience in undertaking assigned research tasks and starting to manage own workload.

- Writing for scholarly journals and contributing to scientific papers.

- Well-developed reasoning and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to function as part of a team.

- Ability to work on multiple tasks with competing demands and deadlines.

- Advanced English language communication skills (verbal and written)
