Resident Engineer

Description:

ANT Engineering Consultants is seeking an experienced Resident Engineer to oversee construction projects in Dubai. The role involves supervising on-site activities to ensure compliance with contracts, specifications, and local authority regulations. The Resident Engineer will coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants, and authorities to ensure smooth project execution while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise construction works to ensure adherence to contract terms, specifications, and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate effectively with clients, contractors, consultants, and relevant authorities
• Review shop drawings, monitor site progress, and enforce contract obligations
• Lead site meetings, prepare detailed reports, and manage on-site staff
• Ensure Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) compliance and maintain quality standards

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years as a Resident Engineer in high-rise buildings, villas, warehouses, or infrastructure projects
• Preferable registration with the UAE Society of Engineers
• Strong knowledge of UAE Building Codes, FIDIC contracts, and Dubai authority procedures
• Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills
