As Italian Speaking Restaurant Supervisor, you will:
- Oversee the daily operations of the outlet, ensuring smooth service and world-class dining experiences.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the restaurant’s concept, food, and beverage offerings, and effectively train colleagues.
- Lead shifts with confidence, guiding and supporting colleagues while actively engaging in service.
- Ensure synergy across outlets and departments to optimize efficiency and guest satisfaction.
- Support management in training, developing, and appraising colleagues in line with luxury brand standards.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in both front and back-of-house areas.
- Identify opportunities for service improvements and share recommendations with management.
- Uphold grooming, service, and presentation standards, ensuring a consistent luxury image.
- Manage inventory, requisitions, and stock levels to ensure seamless operations.
- Supervise POS accuracy, cash handling, and compliance with cashiering procedures.
- Verify attendance records and ensure manning levels align with operational needs.
- Interact confidently with guests, including welcoming VIPs, handling complaints, and ensuring personalized service.
- Support management with training sessions, role plays, and on-the-job learning.
- Act as a leader and role model during the absence of the management team.
About You
- Certification or Diploma in Hospitality Management preferred.
- Previous experience in a luxury hotel or resort environment is highly desirable.
- Fluency in Italian and English (written and verbal) is required.
- Strong leadership skills with a passion for guest service.
- Well-groomed, professional, and engaging presence.
- Physically agile and able to stand for extended periods.
