Risk Officer

Horizon Exchange is looking to hire a proactive and detail-oriented Risk Officer to join their team. This role is ideal for professionals with a solid background in risk management and compliance within financial services or exchange houses. The successful candidate will play a key role in identifying potential risks, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting the organization’s overall risk framework.

The position requires a strong understanding of AML/KYC regulations, risk assessment processes, and reporting practices. Candidates should possess excellent analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential risks across business operations

• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies

• Maintaining and updating risk registers with accurate and timely information

• Preparing risk reports and presenting findings to management

• Supporting AML/KYC compliance processes and monitoring activities

• Collaborating with internal teams to strengthen risk management frameworks

• Conducting regular reviews and assessments to ensure operational compliance

Requirements:

• 2 to 4 years of experience in risk management or compliance within an exchange house or financial services environment

• Strong knowledge of risk management principles, AML/KYC, and regulatory frameworks

• Experience in maintaining risk registers and preparing detailed reports

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
