Rubber Mixing Supervisor

Description:

The Rubber Mixing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily rubber mixing operations on-site at the Ras Al Khaimah facility in a full-time capacity. The role includes planning and monitoring production schedules, coordinating raw material availability, and ensuring batches are prepared according to specified formulations and quality standards. The supervisor leads and guides the mixing team, allocates work, monitors equipment performance, and enforces safety procedures and housekeeping standards. Key tasks include maintaining process records, troubleshooting production issues, collaborating with quality control and maintenance teams, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product consistency. The role also involves training team members, ensuring compliance with company policies, and supporting audits and inspections as required.
Qualifications

• Experience in rubber mixing or related manufacturing processes, with strong understanding of formulations, mixing parameters, and material handling.
• Proven supervisory skills, including team leadership, shift management, task allocation, and performance monitoring in a production environment.
• Knowledge of quality control principles, process documentation, and adherence to technical specifications and industry standards.
• Familiarity with production planning, workflow optimization, and coordinating with maintenance, logistics, and quality teams.
• Commitment to workplace safety, equipment operation protocols, and implementation of 5S or similar housekeeping practices.
• Ability to analyze process data, identify issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce scrap.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural, fast-paced industrial setting.
• Relevant technical diploma or degree in mechanical, chemical, polymer, or industrial engineering, or equivalent manufacturing experience.
• Previous experience in rubber, polymer, foam, or related industries in the Middle East or similar markets is an advantage.
