Hiring Safety Officer
Location: Dubai, UAE
๐๐ฒ๐ ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐๐ฝ๐ผ๐ป๐๐ถ๐ฏ๐ถ๐น๐ถ๐๐ถ๐ฒ๐:
- Regularly inspect the work environment, equipment, and processes to identify hazards, safety risks, and compliance issues.
- Conduct risk assessments to evaluate potential hazards in the workplace and recommend safety measures.
- Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies, procedures, and practices to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
- Organize safety training sessions for employees on proper safety protocols, emergency procedures, equipment handling, and risk avoidance.
- Investigate accidents and near-miss incidents to determine their cause and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Ensure compliance with JAFZA standards and other relevant safety laws.
- Develop and implement emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures, first-aid training, and emergency drills.
- Ensure that all safety equipment, including fire extinguishers, first-aid kits, PPE (personal protective equipment), and emergency alarms, is available, functional, and well-maintained
- Maintain records of safety inspections, incidents, training, and compliance activities. Prepare safety reports and present them to management.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure safety procedures are integrated into daily operations.
๐ฆ๐ธ๐ถ๐น๐น๐ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ค๐๐ฎ๐น๐ถ๐ณ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐:
- Bachelorโs degree/Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP), NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent safety certification is preferred.
- JAFZA experience will be an advantage
- Ability to assess risks and develop solutions to mitigate safety hazards.
- Strong communication skills to effectively train employees and convey safety information.
- Analytical skills to investigate incidents and find the root causes.
- Proficiency in safety management systems and tools.
