Safety Officer

Wekaya is currently hiring an experienced Safety Officer to join its team in Sharjah. The company is focused on maintaining high standards of safety and operational excellence across its projects and operations in the UAE.

The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations, monitoring workplace hazards, and supporting safe working practices across all operational activities. Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and enforce health and safety regulations across site operations

• Conduct safety inspections and identify potential hazards

• Ensure compliance with UAE safety standards and company policies

• Support implementation of safety procedures and risk assessments

• Report incidents and recommend corrective actions

Requirements:

• Experience in Safety / HSE field preferred

• Strong understanding of workplace safety regulations

• Ability to conduct inspections and risk assessments

• Good communication and reporting skills

• Strong knowledge of:
