Safety Officer

Strong Walls Construction LLC is seeking qualified and experienced Safety Officers to join its construction team in Dubai. This opportunity is ideal for professionals who are committed to maintaining the highest health, safety, and environmental standards across construction projects.

The selected candidate will oversee daily site safety activities, promote a strong safety culture, and ensure compliance with HSE regulations while working closely with engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and site personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor daily site activities and ensure compliance with HSE requirements.

• Conduct regular site safety inspections and identify potential hazards.

• Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe working practices.

• Conduct toolbox talks and safety induction sessions.

• Prepare safety reports and maintain HSE documentation.

• Assist with risk assessments and method statement reviews.

• Report and investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses.

• Follow up on corrective and preventive actions.

• Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and workers.

• Promote a strong Zero Accident and Safe Work Culture.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.

• NEBOSH, IOSH, or an equivalent HSE certification is preferred.

• Relevant experience in UAE construction projects.

• Good knowledge of construction safety practices and HSE requirements.

• Strong communication, observation, and reporting skills.

• UAE/GCC experience will be an advantage.

• Strong knowledge of:

• Construction health and safety practices.

• HSE regulations, inspections, and documentation.

• Risk assessments, method statements, and incident reporting.
