Responsibilities
- Supporting Client Coverage colleagues throughout the sales lifecycle by exchanging factual information with immediate team members and routine stakeholders.
- Driving customer satisfaction and adoption within existing accounts through active listening and seeking to understand client perspectives and concerns.
- Responding to inquiries related to licensing, billing, renewals, and client maintenance, prioritizing tasks based on their importance and urgency.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams (such as Finance, Product Management, and Legal) to enhance sales processes and strategies, contributing to team initiatives to improve our business area.
- Overseeing agreement drafting and negotiation with internal and external legal teams.
- Maintaining accurate CRM records (Salesforce) of leads and client interactions for analysis and reporting.
- Identifying and qualifying potential leads through research and outreach, proactively identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- All employees are required to work from the office a minimum of 2 days per week.
What We're Looking For Basic Required Qualifications:
- An S&P Global employee at this level would typically have 2 + years of experience in supporting the full sales cycle, managing interactions with clients, and identifying new opportunities.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or related fields.
- Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proven ability to meet targets and performance metrics while taking accountability for your results.
- We require all candidates who reach the final stage of our interview process to attend at least one in-person interview, which is ordinarily at your nearest S&P Global office. This must be completed before we can proceed to an offer.
