Sales Engineer

Looking for a Project Sales Engineer for a company based in Dubai to act as the techno-commercial point of contact to our clients. Your role will be to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers.

To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience developing leads from the marketplace and meeting sales targets. You will use your communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with customers, from first contact until you close the deal. You will also ensure proper after-sales service coordination. If you are motivated, results oriented, and enjoy working in a team environment. Ultimately, you shall boost sales and contribute to our long-term business growth.

 

Responsibilities:

.Qualify leads from marketplace as sales opportunities.

. Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails.

. Present our company to potential clients.

. Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/ services.

. Identify New upcoming projects & tenders well in advance

. Prepare Techno-Commercial Bids.

. Prepare Tender Documentation with Technical & Commercial Compliance.

. Ability to comprehend challenging situations and deliver as required.

. Build long-term trusting relationships with clients.

. Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market.

. Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Project Engineers/Managers.

. Report to the Business Development Manager on (weekly| monthly |quarterly) sales results.

. Stay up to date with new products/services and new pricing strategies.

. Communicating with Suppliers regularly to establish cost effective supply chain management.

 

The candidate will manage the technical assistance and sales with different segments of clients (distributors of electrical equipment, installers, panel builders, electrical designers, MEP Contractors & EPCs) by providing his technical knowledge.

 

Requirements:

Proven 3 Years work experience in Sales of Mission critical power equipment.

Sales Engineer, Project Sales Engineer, Key Account Engineer, or similar role.

Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls & Client Visits).

Should have good connections/repo with leading MEP & Automation Consultants, RTU Automation System Integrators, LV & MV Switchgear Manufacturers, EPC & MEP Contractors.

Track record of achieving sales targets.

Experience with CRM software & ERP software. Oracle NetSuite Preferred.

Proficiency with MS OFFICE Suite.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Ability to deliver engaging presentations.
