Sales Engineer

 

Description:

As a *Sales Engineer – Wastewater Treatment Systems* at Hunza Global Ventures, you will bridge technical innovation with customer requirements in our Wastewater Treatment Systems Division. You’ll identify growth opportunities, lead technical sales efforts, and guide projects from initial consultation to successful commissioning. This position calls for deep technical expertise in wastewater solutions, outstanding communication abilities, and a drive to foster enduring client partnerships in a sustainability-focused environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

- Identify, pursue, and cultivate new business opportunities in the wastewater treatment and water reuse markets (municipal, industrial, commercial).

- Consult with clients to evaluate requirements, develop technical proposals, and propose customized, sustainable solutions.

- Deliver pre-sales and post-sales technical assistance, encompassing system sizing, specifications, process flows, and equipment selection.

- Create precise cost estimates, proposals, and quotations; negotiate contracts and pricing to secure profitable deals.

- Partner with R&D and engineering teams to validate solution viability and adherence to quality, environmental, and regulatory standards.

- Represent Hunza Global Ventures at industry events, trade shows, and technical forums; monitor market trends, innovations, and GCC regulations.

- Propel revenue expansion to surpass sales targets and KPIs, contributing to our mission of sustainable impact.

- Analyze competitor products, services, and pricing; devise tactics to bolster our market leadership in eco-friendly technologies.

- Collect client insights and sector trends to guide product enhancements and innovation in wastewater treatment.

 

Desired Qualifications:

 

- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.

- 3-7 years of demonstrated experience in technical sales or sales of wastewater treatment systems, industrial water treatment, or related sustainable water solutions.

- In-depth knowledge of wastewater treatment processes, including biological methods (e.g., activated sludge, MBBR, SBR), membrane filtration, chemical dosing, and sludge handling.

- Hands-on experience in crafting technical proposals, foundational system design, and cost estimation for water treatment projects.

- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the proficiency to simplify and persuasively convey intricate technical concepts.

- Proven negotiation prowess and skills in cultivating robust, long-term client relationships.

- Readiness for local and regional travel to client sites and project implementations.

- Awareness of Middle East/GCC environmental regulations and standards is highly desirable.

- Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic or other regional languages is a significant advantage.
