Description:
The Sales Executive will focus on generating business growth by identifying new clients, nurturing existing relationships, and promoting the company’s diverse logistics services. The role requires a mix of outside and inside sales activities, ensuring a strong balance between market outreach and strategic account management. A minimum of 2 years of sales experience within the logistics industry in the UAE market is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify new business opportunities and market trends within the UAE logistics industry;
- Conduct market mapping to target potential clients across all service segments (air freight, sea freight, road transport, and project cargo);
- Maintain a structured sales pipeline to achieve and exceed targets;
- Conduct regular client visits to establish and strengthen relationships;
- Deliver persuasive presentations to potential and existing customers to promote services;
- Negotiate pricing and contracts, ensuring alignment with company objectives;
- Respond promptly to inquiries and prepare quotations tailored to client needs;
- Maintain consistent follow-up with clients to convert leads into sales;
- Provide excellent customer service and act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts;
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales goals;
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports, including pipeline status, market feedback, and revenue forecasts;
- Contribute to regional sales strategies by providing actionable insights;
- Coordinate with operations, customer service, and marketing teams to ensure seamless service delivery;
- Participate in marketing campaigns, networking events, and trade shows to expand brand presence.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of proven sales experience in the logistics or freight forwarding industry, exclusively within the UAE market;
- Solid understanding of logistics services (air freight, sea freight, road transport, and project cargo);
- Strong negotiation and deal-closing abilities with clients across various industries;
- Proficiency in both outside sales (client visits and negotiations) and inside sales (account management and follow-ups);
- Proactive, self-motivated, and results-driven;
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to build lasting relationships in a competitive market;
- Fluency in English is mandatory. Knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
- Valid UAE driver’s license and the flexibility to travel locally as needed.
