Sales Executive - European Market

 

Description:

We are looking for a motivated and result-oriented sales professional with a proven track record in luxury hotel/resort/travel company with outstanding sales experience and track record. The main focus of this role is to develop and source appropriate business into our hotel sourced from the European Market.

In this position, you are responsible for proactively soliciting and handling any sales opportunities, acquiring new customers, maintain existing customers within the assigned regions.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Set up appointments and make personal sales calls, telemarketing, and inspections to all existing and potential accounts
  • Solicit existing and potential customers and follow up established accounts regular basis by personal contact, by phone and by correspondence
  • Follow up on lost business and bring information about them to the of the department superior
  • Negotiate with all customers and send out offers/contracts regarding and group business
  • Follow the sales and marketing results and propose corrective actions if needed
  • Explore industry related data, new developments, new assignments, complexes, new business centers, new projects which all could be and benefit of the hotel and to distribute this information to colleagues
  • Keep close follow up on developments of the competitor hotels (occupancy, structural alterations, renovation, special campaigns, rate promotions, marketing efforts, themed events etc.)
  • Bring ideas and participate in the preparations of the promotional theme events, other promotional activities, and invitation lists
  • Handle individual requests personally, when necessary
  • Maintain an efficient customer database system (OPERA) which is essential in generating sales activities report
  • Update customers with the latest developments in the hotel and inform hotel management of all changes in the customer profile
  • Participate in preparing the sales action plans, attend sales meetings, develop new ideas such as special packages, programs, promotional activities undertaken by sales department, F&B, spa, and other hotel revenue centers
  • Take part in sales training programs, trade fairs / shows, sales blitzes and fam trips assigned by department head
  • Achieve individual goal/targets set by department
  • Provide weekly market specific intelligence and competition update

We are looking exactly for you:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role in Sales
  • Sales or hospitality background
  • English (Spoken and Written) is must
  • Additional language (Italian, French, Spanish, Polish, German, etc.) is must
  • Additional language is a plus
  • Excellent computer skills (MS Office package) & strong administration skills
  • Knowledge of European Market is a plus
  • Capacity to manage various projects and work to tight deadlines
  • Organized and disciplined, dedicated and loyal
  • Commercially (targets and results) focused
  • Friendly, pleasant, and easy to be around person, customer focused with can-do attitude
  • Assertive and don’t mind being the center of attention
  • Excellent interpersonal & negotiation skills
