We are offering an exciting and challenging opportunity for a focused and ambitious person with an interest in sports to join eVulpa and be part of our dynamic team. The selected candidate will work closely with the Chief Commercial Officer on a variety of exciting and high-profile sport events in the West Asia region.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop strong relationships with prospective new clients via all possible customer touchpoints including phone, email, linkedin, networking events, meetings etc.
- Display a thorough understanding of the eVulpa portfolio and services and work towards a coordinated sales plan to achieve budget targets and strategic objectives.
- Lead sales pitches with clients or agencies to understand objectives, build relationships and secure sales deals.
- Continually develop prospect lists by using macro and micro market trends, sound product knowledge and deep understanding of brand marketing in order to identify relevant clients, industries and geographies.
- Prepare sales presentations/decks using consumer insights, media value reporting, and additional proprietary methodologies to help build compelling partnerships.
- Ensure receiving all performance & post-event reports within specified timeframes.
- Ensure strong after-sales relationship management where necessary to enhance renewal probability and identify cross-sales/upselling potential.
- Ensure receiving all materials in correct format within a specified timeline. Align and debrief the event delivery team on the execution and proper delivery of all the sponsorship and sales agreements related to every event.
- Coordinate invoice/billing between FMA and the clients on a monthly basis
· Follow up on the full process to create, amend and finalize all contractual agreements with clients.
Qualifications/Requirements
- 4-5 years or more experience in direct or indirect sales, preferably in the sports, media or entertainment industries across the Gulf markets.
- Multi-market experience in the Gulf region.
- Successful sales track record within one or more of the sporting goods, airline, beverages, hospitality, financial services, automotive, banks and insurance business categories.
- Agency background is a plus.
- A highly motivated sales professional with a track record in generating sponsorship and sales revenues with proven sales experience.
- Strategic and consultative sales capability, including the ability to create customized partnerships in response to individual corporate needs and objectives.
- A passion for sports in general.
- A genuine team player who is willing and able to lead by example.
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills, including a high degree of comfort in preparing and delivering high quality pitches and presentations to senior corporate decision makers in Arabic or English.
- A strong contact network with brands and agencies in the GULF region, as well as an ability to extend this network and build strong and reliable relationships.
- Highly motivated, proactive, self-starter with high energy, team spirit and strong interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in English and Arabic.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Willing to travel within the West Asia region.
