Our client, a leading fragrance company, is seeking two Area Sales Managers to oversee and develop their distribution activities across the Middle East, Levant, and APAC regions. This role requires sales-driven professionals with a strong ability to build partnerships and drive business development.

βœ” 2-3+ years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in fragrances, cosmetics, or luxury retail.

βœ” Strong sales and partnership-building mindset with a proactive and entrepreneurial spirit.

βœ” Ability to travel across the region and actively manage key markets.

βœ” Fluent in English; French is a strong advantage.

 

🎯 Key Responsibilities

πŸ“ˆ Strategy & Area Sales Management

  • Develop and implement the commercial strategy to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Build and manage business plans, including retail/wholesale strategies, purchase forecasts, and trade marketing plans.
  • Track and optimize KPIs (sell-in/sell-out, market trends, competition insights).
  • Lead negotiations with distributors and retailers on trade terms, pricing, and floor space exposure.
  • Establish and nurture trustworthy partnerships with Brand Managers.

 

πŸ“Š Marketing & Merchandising

  • Work closely with Marketing & Brand Managers to create impactful trade marketing campaigns.
  • Execute marketing activations (launches, in-store promotions, BA incentives).
  • Improve brand visibility & presence across the regional retail network.
  • Ensure brand guidelines are consistently applied.

 

πŸ“Š Forecasting & Reporting

  • Analyze sales & stock trends, ensuring precise forecasts aligned with retail needs.
  • Deliver monthly sales reports by client, location, category, and references.

 

πŸ”Ή Key Qualifications & Skills

βœ” 2-3+ years of experience as an Area Sales Manager or in a similar role.

βœ” Strong sales, negotiation, and business development skills.

βœ” Excellent organization, analytical, and interpersonal abilities.

βœ” Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

βœ” Fluent in English; French is a strong advantage.

βœ” Frequent travel required (30%) across the Middle East, Levant, and APAC.

βœ” Master’s degree from a reputable business school.
