Key Responsibilities:

 

Identify and acquire new business opportunities within the freight forwarding, NVOCC, and shipping sectors.

 

Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, freight forwarders, and logistics partners.

 

Conduct regular client visits to understand their shipping requirements and provide solutions.

 

Negotiate contracts and rates, ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.

 

Collaborate with internal teams (operations, documentation, finance) to ensure smooth delivery of services.

 

Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to adapt strategies.

 

Maintain up-to-date CRM records and generate sales reports for management review.

Requirements:

 

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Maritime Studies, or related field.

 

Minimum 2-4 years of sales experience in shipping or freight forwarding.

 

Strong knowledge of shipping line operations and international trade.

 

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

 

Target-driven with a proven record of meeting or exceeding sales KPIs.

 

Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
