Description:
The ideal candidate understands both the creative and operational sides of events, can represent CoinW in external negotiations, and thrives in the fast-paced, detail-driven world of crypto and fintech.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute CoinW’s global event and sponsorship strategy aligning with marketing, brand, and business objectives.
• Plan and manage Tier-1 global sponsorships (e.g., Token2049, major fintech or crypto summits, sports or entertainment partnerships) and Tier-2 regional activations.
• Lead end-to-end event delivery: concept, budgeting, vendor selection, creative briefing, production, on-site management, and post-event reporting.
• Oversee contract negotiation and partnership management, ensuring all agreements meet compliance, financial, and brand standards.
• Collaborate with Brand & Communications to ensure creative alignment, messaging consistency, and effective PR amplification.
• Partner with MPO and Finance to manage budgets, forecast event costs, and track ROI for every activation.
• Build and maintain a global vendor and partner network, event agencies, production houses, sponsorship brokers, and venues.
• Work closely with Regional Marketing teams to localize and activate events in APAC, MENA, EU, and LATAM.
• Develop internal event planning processes and checklists, creating templates for scalability and cross-regional consistency.
• Manage the event calendar under MPO governance, ensuring visibility and coordination across departments.
• Serve as CoinW’s on-site representative at key global events and conferences; build relationships with media, partners, and organizers.
• Ensure all activations comply with crypto marketing regulations and internal brand and risk standards.
• Support post-event reviews and reporting, summarizing key outcomes, media impact, and partnership value.
Candidate Profile
Experience
• 6–8 years of experience in event management, sponsorship, or partnership marketing, ideally within crypto, fintech, or global tech industries.
• Proven record of leading major sponsorships or conferences from concept, planning, execution to completion.
• Experience managing multi-country activations and vendor ecosystems.
• Strong financial discipline, able to manage multi-million-dollar event budgets.
• Background in both brand experience and commercial partnership management preferred.
Skills & Strengths
• Strong project and logistics management; able to coordinate complex timelines across multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills; confident handling global sponsorships.
• Hands-on operator; comfortable managing suppliers, creative teams, and internal approvals simultaneously.
• Data-driven mindset; able to quantify ROI and evaluate event performance.
• Creative eye for experience design; understands audience engagement and brand impact.
• Familiar with event software, project management tools, and reporting dashboards.
• Bilingual communication skills (English & Chinese); comfortable engaging global and HQ teams.
