Description:

Sales representatives are responsible for communicating the benefits of a company's products in order to drive sales. Sales reps serve as the point of contact between a business and its prospects or clients and have a range of responsibilities including identifying and educating prospective customers while supporting existing clients with information and assistance that relates to products and services.

 

Salesperson Responsibilities:

  • Serves customers by selling media production services and meeting customer needs.
  • Adjusts content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlet or trade factor.
  • Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers.
  • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
  • Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, services, new services, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.
  • Recommends changes in service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
  • Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
  • Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.
  • Reach out to cold customers and present our media production solutions.
  • Selling products and services using solid arguments to prospective customers
  • Performing cost-benefit analyses of existing and potential customers
  • Maintaining positive business relationships to ensure future sales
  • Provide customers with information about service.
  • Ring up purchases.
  • generate and qualify leads
  • source and develop client referrals
  • prepare sales action plans and strategies
  • develop and maintain a customer database, sales, and promotional materials
  • plan and conduct direct marketing activities
  • make sales calls to new and existing clients
  • develop and make presentations of company products and services to current and potential clients
  • negotiate with clients and develop sales proposals
  • prepare and present sales contracts
  • maintain sales activity records and prepare sales reports
  • respond to sales inquiries and concerns by phone, electronically, or in-person

Salesperson Requirements:

  • A degree in sales, marketing, or a related field would be advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Flexible work hours.
  • Prior 5 years experience in agencies.
  • Motivation to work through busy shifts.
  • Own a car.
