Scheduler Coordinator

Description:

A leading healthcare facility based in Abu Dhabi urgently seeks an experienced Scheduler Coordinator – Nursing Operations to oversee and manage nursing workforce scheduling and operational coordination. This role is crucial for ensuring optimal nursing staff coverage, maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations, and supporting clinical and HR teams in resource planning.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and possess strong leadership qualities to effectively coordinate nursing schedules and workforce needs in a fast-paced clinical environment. Immediate availability is essential to meet the facility's urgent staffing requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and manage duty rosters and shift schedules for nursing teams across all departments to ensure optimal patient care coverage.

• Coordinate daily nurse assignments and promptly resolve scheduling conflicts to maintain operational efficiency.

• Serve as the primary liaison between nursing staff and department heads concerning scheduling issues and workforce management.

• Maintain detailed and accurate records of nursing staff availability, attendance, leave, and absences.

• Collaborate with HR and clinical management teams in recruitment, onboarding, and resource allocation of nursing personnel.

• Ensure full compliance with Department of Health (DOH) regulations, UAE labor laws, and healthcare staffing standards.

• Identify staffing shortages proactively and suggest practical solutions to fill gaps and meet operational demands.

• Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to nursing staff, promoting alignment with organizational goals and values.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Proven experience (2 to 3 years) in healthcare scheduling, nursing operations, or similar roles in healthcare settings.

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to coordinate and motivate teams effectively.

• Proficiency in healthcare scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• In-depth knowledge of UAE DOH regulations, healthcare staffing requirements, and labor laws.

• Ability to perform well under pressure and handle the demands of a dynamic clinical environment.

• Residency in UAE and availability for immediate joining are mandatory.
