We are currently hiring an experienced School Cashier for Deira International School, Festival City, Dubai. This appointment is required ASAP.

Deira International School, Festival City is a not for profit Premium 3-18 school and is part of the Al Futtaim Education Foundation portfolio. The curriculum is based upon the English National Curriculum covering a diverse range of subjects. This focuses on developing key learning skills and the foundations for accessing the Primary Curriculum. In primary, students receive an enriching and broad curriculum offer, which includes the delivery of several non-core subjects. About The Role

To process all cash and related transactions accurately and efficiently in accordance with established policies and procedures

Key Responsibilities

Tuition Fee

• Collect fees and follow up of unpaid fees
• Send Invoice and reminders to parents

Other Fees

• Collect fees for (Music, Art, After School Extracurricular etc) activities, ASA Commission

Record Keeping

• Maintain student fee records
• Maintain updated record of all bounced cheques and alert management of potential bad debts

Cash Handling

• Disburse appropriately approved petty cash and maintain an updated account of petty cash.
• Prepare statements for replenishment of authorised float

Compliance

• Assist with implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedure
• Any other work assigned by line manager

About The Person

• Bachelor’s degree in accounts / related field
• Minimum 3-year experience with at least 2 years as Cashier in school business
• Basic Computer skills. Should be able to operate accounting softwares
• Communication & Time Management skills
• Attention to details
• Customer satisfaction oriented
