Security Analyst

Description:

Flint, a professional IT and telecom services provider, is seeking a highly experienced Information Security Analyst to join its cybersecurity team based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with hands-on expertise in security operations, incident response, and a wide array of security tools and frameworks. The position is on-site only and requires candidates to attend a physical interview.

As a Security Analyst, you will be at the forefront of the organization's cyber defense strategy, working to protect infrastructure, detect threats, and respond swiftly to security incidents. Your responsibility will span from creating advanced detection use cases to ensuring operational stability of security platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain security operations center (SOC) activities at Level 2/3.

• Perform real-time and post-event analysis on security events and incidents.

• Design and create true positive alarms through advanced use case development.

• Utilize LogRhythm for SIEM monitoring, alerting, and analytics.

• Handle integration and onboarding of various cloud assets.

• Conduct thorough incident response and analysis ensuring swift and appropriate action.

• Manage and monitor vulnerability tools such as Qualys or equivalent platforms.

• Ensure overall health and efficiency of deployed security solutions and infrastructure.

• Support and implement best practices aligned with ITIL and audit requirements.

• Work with various tools and technologies, including (but not limited to):

  • Exabeam, Azure Cloud, Cyber Reason, Recorded Future, Threat Intel, SOAR, NDR, AppDynamics, SolarWinds, Nexthink, Site24x7

• Leverage scripting skills and data center experience for automation and enhancement of security functions.

• Provide 24×7 support, including shift-based work as required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in information security operations.

• Mandatory experience with LogRhythm.

• Strong command over written and spoken English.

• In-depth knowledge of incident response processes, security tool management, and threat detection.

• Experience working in high-availability environments and managing complex security solutions.

• Willingness and capability to attend in-person interviews and commit to on-site work in Abu Dhabi.
