Description:
My client, a leading investment management company based in Abu Dhabi (UAE) is seeking an experienced Security/DevSecOps Engineer to join them on a permanent basis. The chosen candidate will be partnering with the business to explore new technology solutions and manage the risk and compliance within information security. They will also be able to design and implement cloud native security controls as well as executing advanced penetration tests and red team assessments.
The chosen candidate will:
- Perform threat modelling against complex systems and integrations in order to identify threats, risks and appropriate controls
- Manage and update inhouse security standards, specifications and architectures
- Implement automated security control and assessment in support of DevSecOps
- Continuously assess security controls and technology through red teaming, penetration tests and vulnerability assessment
- Mature secure software development lifecycle processes to reduce number of security defects introduced into production
- Act as a subject matter expert for security products and security infrastructure
Experience:
- Experience working on DevSecOps (Essential)
- Bachelor’s Degree is required
- Relevant Information Security certifications, education or training (preferred) eg: OSCP, CISSP, CCSSP, AWS Solutions Architect, AWS Security, Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Security Engineer, SANS, etc.
- Relevant technical certifications preferred eg: Azure, AWS, Cisco, Palo Alto, Sentinel, Tenable etc.
- Minimum 7-10 years relevant experience working within a security organization of a financial institution (Investment Management experience highly desired).
