Senior Accountant

Description:

The role/responsibility of the Senior Accountant is to achieve individual/departmental targets by performing accounting tasks, and effectively coordinating/negotiating with stakeholders. Reporting to the Accounting and Finance manager, the candidate should be a team player who can work with minimum supervision.

Necessary qualifications/know-how/skills:

• Accounting graduate (Master’s degree/CA/CPA is a plus).
• Minimum 5-year experience in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of accounting functions.
• Adequate knowledge of accounting regulations & standards.
• Good knowledge of accounts receivable/payable.
• Budgeting and budget control/variance analysis.
• Good knowledge of LC procedures.
• Good reconciliation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage time efficiently.
• Ability to propose measures for improvement.
• ERP exposure (SAP preferred).
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• High level of accuracy and numerical skill.
• High level of integrity.
