Senior Accountant

📌 Key Responsibilities:
✅ Oversee and manage the full accounting process, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
✅ Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
✅ Manage cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
✅ Handle VAT compliance, tax filings, and audits.
✅ Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are recorded correctly.
✅ Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial audits.
✅ Ensure adherence to company policies and UAE financial regulations.
✅ Experience with HORIZON software is a plus!

📌 Requirements:
🎓 Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Accountancy, or a related field.
📊 Minimum 8 years of accounting experience, preferably in a contracting company.
📈 Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and bookkeeping.
💻 Proficiency in HORIZON software is an advantage.
🔍 Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
⏳ Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
📍 Candidates currently based in the UAE are preferred.
