Senior Accountant

Description:

A well-established organization in Dubai is seeking a meticulous and experienced Senior Accountant specializing in Payables to join their dynamic finance team. This full-time role requires a detail-oriented professional with a strong aptitude for numbers, accuracy, and efficient financial management.

Position Overview:

As the Senior Accountant – Payables, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of supplier invoice processing and payments. The role demands a thorough understanding of accounts payable processes, excellent reconciliation skills, and the ability to work with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Validate, verify, and post supplier invoices accurately and on time.

• Process supplier payments promptly to maintain good vendor relationships.

• Manage Reverse Charge Mechanism (RCM) invoice booking and reconciliation.

• Prepare monthly management reports related to accounts payable activities.

• Reconcile vendor statements and clear accounts regularly to ensure accuracy.

• Oversee intercompany and inter-branch reconciliations.

• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

• Make accrual entries and maintain comprehensive records of invoices and payment proofs.

• Collaborate closely with other finance team members to ensure smooth workflow and compliance.

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience specifically in Accounts Payable or Finance.

• Strong expertise in reconciliation, reporting, and invoice processing.

• Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle is highly preferred.

• Excellent attention to detail with strong time management skills.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines under pressure.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
