Senior Accountant

Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant who has well experience in Financial & Inventory Controlling. He must be responsible for overseeing the accurate posting and closing of purchase orders, managing monthly costing activities, ensuring timely month-end closing, preparing VAT filings, and maintaining partner accounts. The role requires strict adherence to company policies, regulatory standards, and timely reporting to support financial integrity and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
·        Approve and post purchase orders; ensure timely closure and verify vendor invoices.
·        Manage inventory and costs; reconcile accounts and prepare accurate month-end reports.
·        Reconcile all overhead provisions accounts on a monthly basis.
·        Run inventory batch processes prior to generating costing reports.
·        Post month-end adjustments, provisions, and accruals.
·        Post monthly and weekly sales returns after obtaining approval from GM.
·        Prepare VAT filings quarterly, maintaining proper documentation.
·        Pre-approve partner expenses and post promotional payments with signed vouchers.

Qualifications:
·        Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
·        Knowledge of MS 365 Dynamics Business Central software and financial reporting tools.
·        Experience in inventory, costing, and financial postings.
·        Strong organizational and compliance skills.
·        Minimum 4-6 years of experience in UAE, preferably be able to handle group companies.
