Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee multi-currency accounting operations, ensuring accurate conversions, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Manage merchant-related transactions and aggregator services with precision.
- Conduct intercompany reconciliations to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Prepare timely and accurate financial statements and management reports.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure adherence to local regulatory requirements and internal company policies.
- Leverage QuickBooks and Xero to optimize financial processes and reporting.
Requirements:
- 4–5 years of accounting experience within the UAE.
- Strong knowledge of multi-currency conversions and accounting practices.
- Previous experience with merchant payments or aggregator platforms is advantageous.
- Solid expertise in intercompany reconciliations.
- Background in multinational companies, with a proven track record of delivering results.
- Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaborative skills.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Xero accounting software.
