Senior Accountant

Description:

We are currently looking to hire a highly competent and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to become part of a dynamic finance team in the UAE. The ideal candidate should possess strong accounting expertise, hands-on UAE experience, and a solid understanding of local regulatory and compliance requirements. This role requires a professional who can independently manage financial reporting and ensure accuracy in all accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:

• M.Com qualification or CA / ACCA (Part Qualified) is mandatory.
• 5 to 6 years of relevant accounting experience, with preference given to candidates who have worked in the UAE.
• Strong experience in preparing and finalizing monthly and annual financial statements, including complete closing procedures.
• In-depth understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, and reporting standards.
• Practical experience handling UAE VAT submissions and Corporate Tax compliance requirements.
• Ability to manage supplier accounts, reconcile statements, and process payments accurately.
• Familiarity with ICV certification processes and related documentation requirements.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems such as Tally, QuickBooks, or similar accounting software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word for reporting and documentation.
• Experience liaising with external auditors, preparing audit schedules, and supporting audit processes.
