Senior Accountant

Description:

ABM Industries, a well-established manufacturer specializing in GFRC, GRP, and Prefabricated Construction Solutions, is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Senior Accountant to join its team in the United Arab Emirates. This role is ideal for an accounting professional who has strong experience in financial management, reporting, and ERP-based accounting systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing key financial operations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and supporting the organization’s financial planning and reporting processes. The position requires a detail-oriented professional who can manage financial data efficiently while contributing to the company’s operational and financial success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage financial statements, reports, and accounting records in accordance with company policies
• Ensure compliance with VAT regulations and financial reporting standards
• Monitor company financial transactions and maintain accurate accounting documentation
• Utilize ERP systems (preferably Odoo) to manage accounting data and financial workflows
• Support the implementation of cost control measures and budgeting processes
• Assist management with financial analysis, reporting, and decision-making support
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure accurate financial tracking and documentation

Requirements:

• Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in accounting or finance roles
• Strong knowledge and practical experience working with ERP systems, preferably Odoo
• Hands-on experience in financial reporting, VAT compliance, and cost control processes
• Arabic language skills are preferred, though not mandatory
• Previous experience in the construction or manufacturing sector will be considered an advantage
