Senior Accountant

Description:

A reputable organization in the F&B sector is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their finance team in Dubai or Sharjah. This position requires a seasoned finance professional with strong UAE accounting experience and a deep understanding of financial reporting, compliance, and management within the F&B industry.

The role reports directly to the Finance Manager and plays a key role in managing accounts, preparing reports, and ensuring accurate financial operations in compliance with local regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage cash flow effectively and ensure financial stability
• Oversee accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) processes
• Prepare accurate financial statements in accordance with accounting standards
• Provide detailed management reports to support strategic decision-making
• Ensure compliance with VAT and corporate tax regulations
• Manage inter-company accounts and reconciliations
• Coordinate and support audit activities and fulfill audit requirements

Requirements:
• MBA in Finance preferred, with professional certifications such as CA (part qualified), CPA, or ACCA highly desirable
• 7–10 years of accounting experience, including at least 5 years in the UAE F&B sector
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and corporate tax regulations
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and reporting skills
• Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
