Senior Accountant

Description:

A manufacturing company based in Dubai is currently seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their finance team. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting expertise, hands-on UAE experience, and a solid background in the manufacturing sector. Immediate to short-term joiners (within 10 days) are preferred.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing core accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting overall financial operations of the organization.

Key responsibilities include:

• Handling complete accounting processes up to finalization of accounts

• Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions efficiently

• Performing regular bank reconciliations and resolving discrepancies

• Preparing and maintaining accurate financial records and reports

• Supporting month-end and year-end closing activities

• Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies

Requirements for the role:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting along with an MBA qualification

• Minimum of 6 years of UAE-based accounting experience

• Prior experience in the manufacturing industry is mandatory

• Strong understanding of financial processes and accounting principles

• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines

• Immediate availability or notice period of up to 10 days preferred
