Senior Accountant

Description:

Prime Edge Tax Consultant is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join its expanding finance team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in accounting standards, financial reporting, and UAE taxation practices.

This role involves handling key accounting functions, ensuring compliance with IFRS standards, and managing tax-related activities in accordance with UAE regulations. The position requires a detail-oriented professional who can support accurate financial decision-making and maintain high reporting standards.

The successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining financial accuracy, supporting audits, and ensuring compliance across all accounting operations within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with IFRS standards

• Manage taxation processes and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations

• Handle reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting

• Assist in audits and provide required financial documentation

• Monitor accounting processes and ensure adherence to internal controls

• Analyze financial data to support business decisions

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of IFRS and UAE tax regulations

• Experience in financial reporting, taxation, and reconciliations

• Strong analytical and accounting skills

• Ability to manage multiple financial tasks and deadlines

• Proficiency in accounting systems and MS Excel

• Strong knowledge of:

• Financial reporting standards and IFRS compliance

• UAE taxation laws and procedures

• Reconciliation and audit support processes
