Senior Accountant

Description:

Royal Food Industries is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join its growing trading and distribution business in Dubai. This role is ideal for finance professionals with strong accounting expertise, experience in UAE taxation requirements, and the ability to manage financial operations within a fast-paced business environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily accounting functions, preparing financial reports, ensuring compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations, and supporting financial planning activities. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to the financial stability and growth of a well-established organization while working closely with management and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting operations and general ledger activities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports

• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and statutory regulations

• Monitor accounts receivable, accounts payable, and cash flow activities

• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes

• Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support decision-making

• Coordinate with auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities

• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation

• Strengthen internal controls and ensure adherence to company policies

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting

• CA Qualification preferred

• Previous experience in the Trading and Distribution industry preferred

• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations

• Experience working with ERP systems

• Odoo ERP experience is an advantage

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

• Strong knowledge of:

• Financial reporting and accounting standards

• UAE VAT compliance and tax filing procedures

• UAE Corporate Tax regulations and reporting

• General ledger management and reconciliations

• Accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash flow management

• Budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis

• ERP systems and financial software applications

• Internal controls and audit coordination
