Senior Accountant

Description:

Widian, a luxury perfume brand based in Abu Dhabi, is seeking a qualified and experienced Senior Accountant to join its finance team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong expertise in financial management, UAE tax regulations, and industry-specific accounting practices.

The selected candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with UAE Corporate Tax laws, and supporting financial reporting processes within a fast-paced luxury goods environment. Experience in the perfumery or similar retail/luxury sector will be highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting.

• Prepare and review sales invoices and financial statements.

• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.

• Ensure compliance with UAE Corporate Tax and FTA regulations. 

Arabs& Middle Easterners

• Maintain accurate financial records and reconciliations.

• Analyze financial data and provide insights for management decision-making.

• Collaborate with internal teams to support smooth financial operations.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.

• Strong knowledge of UAE Corporate Tax regulations and FTA compliance.

• Experience in managing sales invoices and financial reporting.

• Prior experience in the perfumery or luxury retail industry is preferred.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial systems.

• Strong knowledge of:

• Financial Reporting, Invoicing, and Reconciliation Processes

• Accounting Systems and Excel-Based Reporting
